DeCAL-LD is so engineered to use in ladle in secondary metallurgy. This product is added to the ladle before or during or after tap at the steel making furnaces or during or after processing at intermediate treatment facilities. Addition rate varies from 4-8 Kg per ton of liquid steel depending upon parameters.
After adding in ladle DeCAL-LD becomes an oxidised semi liquid / liquid which floats on the surface of liquid steel and absorbs the non metallic inclusions and impurities consisting mainly of sulphur.
